My
handmade totebags and other pretties
Offerings
vary, but usually include totebags, decorative stockings
for all seasons,
small bags for cosmetics, jewelry, etc. and sometimes
lavender sachets.
My
totes, stockings, etc are made from only the finest
available fabrics -
both vintage and new - and I embellish them with the
very best quality trims:
buttons, pearls, beads, metal findings, laces, braid,
fringe - much of it vintage.
All
my totebags are interfaced with bonded fleece for softness
and stability. All
stress points are double or triple stitched, and buttons
used as closures are
sewn on with heavy duty thread so you don't risk losing
that neat vintage button
or buttons because it was sewn on with weak thread.
No wimpy bags or loose
buttons allowed here!! I use only the highest
quality cottons and other fabrics for
linings, often inserting a lining of quilted fabric
to give a totebag even more stability.
Lots of pockets are always a feature - one can never
have too many pockets in a bag!
